The Friendly House is also a United Way of Richland County<\/strong><\/a> Agency and approximately 25% of our annual funding comes from United Way Allocations. During the annual United Way campaign, you can allocate your donation to the Friendly House. This can be done through a personal donation or through payroll deduction from your workplace.<\/p>\n SUPPORTING EVENTS – click on each for additional information.<\/strong><\/p>\n 2024 Friendly House Steak Fry and Casino Night<\/a> – yearly in October.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n TPK Group’s Weekend Of Giving<\/a> – yearly in June or August.<\/p>\n Richland Gives<\/a> – yearly in November.<\/p>\n MATERIAL DONATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n If you are interested in donating items for the Friendly House programs like school supplies, books, board games, toys, winter coats, hats and gloves, etc. please call Friendly House at (419) 522-0521.\u00a0 Non-clothing supplies are preferred to be new, OR in very good condition, immediately transferable to a child in need, with out the need of cleaning or repair<\/strong>.\u00a0 We do not accept furniture, bikes, mattresses, or other bulky items.\u00a0 Food donations must be discussed in advance with management and should have an expiration of at least 6 months in the future.\u00a0 We are appreciative and rely on donations from the community to help strengthen our programs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n As of September 2019, we are no longer accepting any type of clothing donations from the public, but accept new clothing donations from organizations.
